Corinna Chong is a writer and teacher of English, creative writing, and fine arts at Okanagan College in Kelowna, BC. Her first novel, Belinda’s Rings, was released by NeWest Press in 2013, and her stories and reviews have been published in magazines across Canada. In 2021, she was the national winner of the CBC Short Story Prize. The Whole Animal, a collection of short stories that includes the CBC prize winner, was published by Arsenal Pulp Press in spring 2023. Another story in this collection was recently selected for The Best Canadian Stories 2024, published by Biblioasis. Corinna is currently working on a novel called Bad Land, set in the Canadian badlands of Drumheller, Alberta.
