Jacqueline Turner is the author most recently of Flourish — a book of poetic philosophy which critics call, “a quiet tornado: riveting, expansive, and profoundly moving on multiple levels.” Her other books include: The Ends of the Earth, Seven into Even, Careful, and Into the Fold. She is a Writing Specialist at Emily Carr University of Art + Design where her research investigates the role of generous curiosity in creating conditions for collaboration. She has held writing residencies in Brisbane, Tasmania, Granada, and Berlin. Over the years she was a founding member of filling Station magazine, on the collective of the Kootenay School of Writing, co-curated an early webzine called The News, and is a long-time member of a group that runs the On Edge Reading Series at Emily Carr University. Jacqueline grew up in Chase. and now lives in Vancouver.
