You’ve heard the cliche: “what doesn’t kill you makes your stronger.” It’s annoying to hear when you’re facing your own challenges, but great advice for fiction. This workshop explores how to use conflict to push your character to grow and to keep readers turning pages. Conflict fuels story and allows your protagonist to discover strengths they didn’t know they had. We’ll look at possible sources of conflict and individual responses to it.
