Travel Writing for Newspapers and Magazines

The workshop will be a combination of PowerPoint information presentation and active participation. Bring your travel ideas and notebook – paper or digital. I’ll include three basic types of travel articles and the query letters to get your articles out there, taking accompanying photographs, journaling on the road, scoring complimentary travel and what that really means as well as recommendations for conferences and readings.
