The real secret behind what makes a book ‘good’ for most readers is engaging and compelling characters.  But what makes them engaging and compelling?  This workshop will provide an opportunity for writers to explore what makes characters authentic and listen to the true selves of characters in their writing. We will experience letting characters emerge without fighting with them.  Placing yourself with them in the moment of creation. Being surprised by what you learn about them and how they can lead your stories in unexpected directions. Writing tools required.
